A man fell between 100 to 200 feet from a cliff near La Junta Campground in the Wild Rivers Recreation Area north of Questa.
It is unknown at this time if the person is conscious, according to Taos Central Dispatch reports that came in around 4:05 p.m.
First responders are on scene with more en route. The Office of the Medical Investigator, which investigates deaths, has also been dispatched to the campground, according to the radio chatter.
New Mexico State Police are investigating the incident.
