A recovery team led by the Taos County Sheriff's Office has retrieved the body of a man who fell to his death from a cliff in the Rio Grande Gorge on Friday (July 23).
The man has been identified as 65-year-old Odessa, Texas, resident Marc Diaz.

A recovery crew retrieved the body of 65-year-old Mark Diaz from the Rio Grande Gorge on Saturday (July 24) after Diaz lost his foot and fell about 75 feet to his death while hiking with friends on Friday (July 23).
